Don’t Play Hard to Get…with God.

Uncategorized

14 Feb

In the game of Love we often get advice and give advice based on our past experiences. “Don’t be too available”, “Make your self available”. “Don’t look too good, he’ll expect it all the time”, “Make sure you look good or he’ll be lookin’ at someone else”. “Play hard to get… Don’t play hard to get.” Everyone throws in their two cents.

In the game of LIFE there is the game of love! God is LOVE and God gave you life so he knows best. God is about the law of attraction. God is about your beauty. God is about the lover that pursues. God is attracted to us, he loves to be needed by us, he loves to help us! The bible even says he is Jealous. That’s kinda cool if you ask me. Who doesn’t want a lover to be a little jealous. He smiles down on us. He protects us.

What he doesn’t want is for us to show him half of our heart. He wants the whole thing. He doesn’t want to play games. He made our heart and knows how sensitive we break. Life is to serious to joke around with.  He doesn’t need us to woo him. He is the real deal and he is waiting for us to come to him with full trust. He doesn’t Cheat, Lie, Hit, or Yell.  He’s a gentlemen that offers unconditional LOVE!

“For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a Jealous God.” Deut. 4:24  (NKJV)

“God smile on you and gift you” Numbers 6:25 (MSG)

“He who does not love, does not know God, for God is love.”  1John 4;8 (NKJV)
